Our Staff

Every member of our staff has a passion for child care and development. We all strive to bring the best early education exerience possible for every student.


Ms. Christina is the face of Playtime. As the director, you will find her in the office each and every day. But, you will also see her in classrooms helping teachers with their goals and providing motivation. She is an amazing leader and makes everyone feel both heard and appreciated. Her patience, experience, and knowledge make her an asset to teachers and families.
Ms. Christina, Director
Ms. Ali has been working at Playtime Learning Academy since 2011. She has held the positions of assistant teacher, lead teacher, curriculum coordinator and now director. Ms. Ali is in all of the classrooms coaching teachers toward the attainment of their classroom goals and their academic/professional goals. She has helped many of our teachers through our scholarship path to college degrees in education. Ms. Ali is a great communicator and has answers for all our parents' questions.

Ms. Rita, VPK Superviser
Miss Rita has both her CDA as a child development specialist and her Administrator Credential to lead in a child care setting. She is currently working on her degree in education. Her experience as a teacher and as an administrator is a great asset to the Playtime family. She has a classroom environment in which children can easily manipulate their learning tools because everything has a place and a purpose. She teaches the whole child in everything she does. Her children grow academically and socially by leaps and bounds. Although Miss Rita is a preschool administrator, her primary role at Playtime is as a teacher and a mentor.

Ms. Dove
Miss Dove has been working in childcare since 1992. In addition to her CDA in early childhood education, she has specialized training in guidance, behavioral science, emergent literacy, special needs education, and administration. She has an open heart and a kindness of spirit that is contagious. Her caring ways and sweet singing voice are a few of the things that parents remember most about her creative classroom. Her organization and dedication to children are among the many qualities that make her uniquely suited to the complex environment of a toddler classroom and greatly appreciated.


Ms. Claudia
Ms. Claudia has been working at Playtime since 2015. She has her CDA and is currently working on a college degree in early childhood education. Ms. Claudia has a true passion for working with children and has grown to become one of our most trusted teachers. She is organized and friendly. Her classroom always has an array of creative activities and displays. She has also become our technology expert, as she is always up on the latest trends and topics.
Ms. Cindy
Ms. Cindy has been part of the Playtime family since 2014. She has her CDA in early childhood care and is a mother, herself. Ms. Cindy is kind, caring and patient with all the children. She responds to most every request with her characteristic smile and can-do attitude. She has a strong work ethic and is a key part of Playtime’s success.

Ms. Carmen
Ms. Carmen has her associates degree in early childhood education and is currently working toward her Bachelors degree. She has been teaching young children since 2008 and brought a wealth of experience to our school. She is patient, kind, and organized, a wonderful teacher.
Ms. Natashia
Ms. Natashia is the lead teacher of the school age program. She has an unstoppable energy and boundless creativity. She has her early childhood CDA. Ms. Natashia can often be found researching new ideas and planning events to keep our older children excited to come to Playtime each day.

Ms. Jennifer
Ms. Jennifer has been working in childcare for many years. We were lucky enough to recruit her to come to our school in 2019. She has three children of her own and a kind nuturing heart. She works with our youngest children with great patience, teaching them the independence skills they will need to move on to preschool. She has a CDA certificate in early childhood education. Over the years, she has learned what works best with children and is a great source of advice to others.
